Caring for Your Christmas Tree

The following tips will help to extend the life of your Christmas tree:

-Cut .5” off the bottom of your tree before you place it in the stand
-Keep your Christmas tree in a stand with water
-Make sure the stand is wide enough to fit your tree without cutting off any of the width of the trunk
-Keep trees away from heat, a cooler room will make your tree last longer
-Lights that give off less heat, such as LED lights, are better for the life of your tree
-Keep your tree lights off when you’re not home or asleep
-When a Christmas tree dries up, get rid of it
